Learning Revolution

The MLA has achieved its target of encouraging 3,000 individual museums, libraries and archives to sign its Learning Revolution pledge to commit to the informal adult learning movement, six months ahead of schedule.

John Barnes, Conservation and Learning Director at Historic Royal Palaces and one of the recent pledgers that bring the total to 3,000 said: “Each year around 3 million people visit the palaces we look after and every one of those visits is a learning opportunity. Our challenge is to provide active and inspiring ways to promote informal learning, alongside our extensive formal education programme.”
